In Mendel’s Footsteps

An interactive urban adventure in the streets of Brno • A side event of the Mendel Days 2020

We have been forced to postpone the planned side event in the form of the urban adventure In Mendel’s Footsteps due to the coronavirus developments. We will inform of the event’s new schedule in good time.

Brno is endangered by a malevolent variety of pea. Set out in the footsteps of Gregor Johann Mendel’s scientific work to uncover the secret of how to stop it! You or your team can start the adventure anytime during its active period to follow a plethora of diverse tasks, riddles, and clues that will test your perception, wit, and skills while also introducing you to some interesting facts from the life of the famous scientist.

No description

The adventure is suitable for players aged 15 and up, younger children can participate under the supervision of older friends or their parents. The adventure can take from several hours to up to half a day, but it does not have to be played all in one go. You can schedule your progress throughout the whole of the active period in whatever way you see fit. All successful participants and teams will receive a small reward as a souvenir and will be entered into a raffle for some special prizes.
